Scotland’s First Beach Based Obstacle Race

Have you ever looked at a map of the UK and thought, “there is so much of this country I haven’t seen”? You’ve probably visited Edinburgh and said “I must check out the rest of Scotland sometime, I’ve heard great things!” Well now you have the perfect opportunity to see it at its best – Beach Ballistic obstacle race is what you’ve been waiting for!

Beach Ballistic is an OCR event set in the vast grounds of Balmedie Country Park, Aberdeenshire and is Scotland’s only beach based obstacle race.

On the edge of the North Sea, this course is not only a scenic masterpiece but brings with it the challenges of classic Scottish terrain. Weaving back and forth between the park, beach and sea, this course is no doubt for determined souls. So, what are you waiting for??

The stunning beach and unique dune system is the setting for the 6K, 16K and the extreme 32k monster that is the ULTRA BEACH. Obstacles are set in the unique and challenging coastal landscape, including a dip in the North Sea – this will be a true test of strength, stamina and mental toughness.

Who is Beach Ballistic for?

Runners of all abilities, OCR lovers and anyone just wanting to have some fun and get fit.

Take Obstacle Course Racing seriously? This race has been approved by the World & European Championships as a qualification competition. Competitors from both the 16K and 32K races will have the opportunity to qualify!
